NM Collector Software JE runs on Windows, Mac and Linux Operating Systems.  It is designed to be installed and run from a USB Flash Drive so that you can take you data with you and use it on any computer wherever you go - a truly portable software.  However, since some people prefer to install it on the hard drive of only one computer I offer separate installation options for Windows, Mac, and Linux as well.

Please select your operating system or Portable USB Flash Drive for all operating systems from this list of options.

* Notes:

• All options require at least Java 6 on your computer.  Most computers come with it already installed.

• Do not install to "C:\Program Files" directory in Windows 7 and Vista.  This program will not work if installed to that directory.

• The "Full Installation" includes the database.  Do not use this if all you need is to upgrade to the latest version because it will over write your existing data.

• The "Upgrade Only" does not include the database so it will not over write your existing data.  However, in order for it to see your data you must install the upgrade to the same location as the original install.

• When extracting files, if given the opportunity, please be sure to select "Use folder names"

A special note regarding privacy

• This program does not plant anything on your system or contact the Internet unless you click a link from within the program and then it only goes to that page.  The only exception is during a Windows install to ensure the correct  version of Java is loaded.

• To verify this claim I recommend you download, purchase (if necessary) and install one of the many privacy programs available on the web. These will notify you when any program is trying to access the Internet. Some are better than others but I have successfully used the following:

• COMODO

• Acronis
