NM Collector Software - JE - Collecting Software

 

Any collection any platform ... Windows, Mac and Linux.

1. Download archive.
• Full Installation:  NMCollectorJE6.zip
• Upgrade Only: NMCollectorJE6 Upgrade.zip
2. Extract files to installation directory. 
3. Navigate to the installation directory in a terminal window and issue the following command:

     java -jar NMCollectorJE6.jar

• Requires at least Java 6 on your computer.  Most computers come with it already installed.
• Please see Version Notes for important upgrade information. 
  
• Before proceeding any further, please read my new blog on backing up your data at http://nmcollector.net/blog/
• For detailed upgrade instructions please see:   How to Upgrade - Step by Step Process in my support forums.
• Use the "Upgrade Only" from this page to upgrade to the latest version without over writing your data.   The "Full Installation" includes the database.  Do not use this if all you need is to upgrade to the latest version because it will over write your existing data. The "Upgrade Only" does not include the database so it will not over write your existing data.  However, in order for it to see your data you must install the upgrade to the same location as the original install.
