NM Collector Software - JE - Collecting Software

Any collection any platform ... Windows, Mac and Linux.

This download option is for Mac only. Since the software is designed to be used by many operating systens, the startup is not specifically customized for the Mac so you will see many files that are normally hidden from Mac users. Once you start NM Collector Software JE though it will look and operate like any other Mac application.

Instructions: (Step by step install example with images):

Ensure Java 6 has been installed and set up on your Mac.
Download archive.

Full Installation: NMCollectorJE forMac.zip
Upgrade Only: NMCollectorJE forMacUpgrade.zip

Extract the contents to your installation directory - For Upgrade DO NOT Replace the entire old folder or you will lose your database - just replace what is in the Links folder!
Run NMCollectorJE.app

Notes:

Requires at least Java 6 on your computer. Most computers come with it already installed.

Use the "Upgrade Only" from this page to upgrade to the latest version without over writing your data. The "Full Installation" includes the database. Do not use this if all you need is to upgrade to the latest version because it will over write your existing data. The "Upgrade Only" does not include the database so it will not over write your existing data. However, in order for it to see your data you must install the upgrade to the same location as the original install.
